What is the Best Cure for Dandruff?


Dandruff is a general problem and can be easily found among people of every age group, and almost everyone looks for long term cure for dandruff. You must know that dandruff is caused due to excessive shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp. Shedding of skin cells is much frequent if you’ve dandruff and it ultimately causes irritation and burning.

The reason for the cause of dandruff is the yeast-like fungus that is called Malassezia. The fungus may get out of control which leads to the over production of the skin cells and the earlier cells start to shed. So in order to cure dandruff you must look for something that removes this fungus. You must also know that if dandruff is not cured, it may cause hair loss as well.

1- Keep your hair and scalp clean: Make sure that you timely wash your hair with a good shampoo. Secondly, avoid chemical shampoos, because frequent chemical application on scalp will destroy the skin and hair roots.

2- Oiling is very important: Ideally, massaging your scalp twice a week with olive or coconut oil will not only help you remove dandruff but you’ll also have strong and shiny hair. It’s great if you have 60 minutes massaging session, but since no one has much time now a day, 15 minutes of massage can also help a lot.

3- Homemade Remedies: As they are easily available and quick to try, use some homemade remedies, like mixture of egg, yogurt and oil, mixture of olive oil and lime juice and massaging scalp with aloe vera. Homemade remedies to cure dandruff are the cheapest solution as well, so do try them.
4- Consulting an Expert: In some special cases, when your scalp skin is too sensitive and or is of special kind, you must consult an expert for a solution based on your skin type.

5- Avoiding Dark Colors: Dandruff is more visible on darker colors, and at times when you’ve excessive dandruff you should avoid wearing dark colors until it’s treated well.
